Popular Hakone tours for first-time visitors
What this list covers: guided walks and private sightseeing tours, a common way to see a city's main sights with someone who knows the way. These are the 24 Hakone products in that group with the most reviews on Viator. “From” prices run from US$132 to US$648.04; 16 have free cancellation and 20 are private tours.
Ranked by number of reviews on Viator as of 28 Oct 2026
This grouping is this site's, not a Viator category. The list pools the first 50 products in Viator's default order for each of: the “Walking Tours” tag, the “Private Sightseeing Tours” tag in Hakone (34 distinct products), ranked by review count.
“Popular” on this page means the number of reviews Viator shows for the product (Viator's combined count of reviews left on Viator and Tripadvisor); when two products have the same count, the higher rating comes first. It is not a recommendation by Japan Trip Math. Prices are Viator's lowest “from” price in US dollars on the fetch date; the price for your date, group size and option can be higher. Check the current price and the cancellation terms on viator.com before you pay.
