  • Airport Limousine bus to Shinjuku (Shinjuku Station / Busta Shinjuku and major hotels): Journey time not recorded: buses serve different hotel stops, so a single time could not be read from the timetable without guessing.
  • Airport Bus TYO-NRT (low-cost bus, no reservation) to Tokyo Station: 68 minutes is the operator's 'approx.' time from Terminal 1 to Tokyo Station; the operator's stated fastest time between Tokyo Station and Narita Airport is 65 minutes. Reserved seats; pick-up at Narita Airport Terminal 1 or Terminal 2-3 Station with your passport.
  • Airport Limousine bus to Tokyo Station (Yaesu North, Tekko Building): Scheduled times read from the operator's timetable as shown on 2026-10-26: 75-100 min from Terminal 1 and 85-110 min from Terminal 3, depending on the departure. 75 is the fastest scheduled run from Terminal 1; road traffic can make it longer.

With a JR Pass

The nationwide JAPAN RAIL PASS covers JR Group trains, including limited express trains such as Haruka and the JR Kansai-Airport Rapid Service, and the JR Pass site states that pass holders can also use the Tokyo Monorail (Haneda). Private railways such as Keisei (Skyliner, Access Express), Keikyu and Nankai (Rapi:t) are not JR: the official site says the fare and charges for a private railway section must be paid. Airport buses are not covered (the pass covers JR Bus local lines only and is not valid on JR Bus express routes). The JR Pass site also notes that JR coverage has 'some exceptions'.

Options on this page that are covered by the pass:

  • Narita Express (N'EX) with the N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket to Tokyo Station (also Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Yokohama) (The Narita Express is a JR East limited express, so the nationwide JR Pass covers it (JR limited express trains are among the pass's valid trains); the round-trip ticket is a separate product for visitors without a pass.)
